What is Digital NFCard?

This is an app that lets you input your contact details and store them on your phone and then share them with your friends or business partners.

Digital NFCard is a new app and is still under development.
It's design and functionality will improve with time.
Hopefully you will find it useful.

So how does it work?

Step 1:
Add a card by clicking the floating plus (+) button on the main screen.

Step 2:
Type in your contact details as follows:

1. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn or Skype username.

Please make sure you type in only your username, without any other attributes. Avoid entering email or other references which are not considered a username.

Also: Do not enter links www.facebook... etc in the Username fields. You can check if you have entered the correct name with the "Check Username" buttons below the input fields.

There are no special requirement for the input format for the rest of the fields.

Step 3: Once you have saved your card, you can click on it and it will lead you to the View Activity. From there you can share your card with the "Share Via" option or "App to App" option.

For the time being, the current "App to App" option is only via Bluetooth.

In order to share via Bluetooth to another app on another device, make sure that the second device is in "receive mode" by clicking the "receive card" floating button in the second tab (Received Cards).

Please also make sure your device has it's required features enabled and is discoverable.

Step 4: Establish a connection between the 2 devices following the views on the screen. Once the connection is established, the app will automatically send the selected card to the other device.

During an active connection both devices can share cards with each other. No need to disconnect and re-connect to send other cards to the same device. You can transfer cards between both devices as long as the connection is active.

Also, you can send your contact details in HTML format or plain text with the "Share Via" option.

And that is it! You have now shared your contact details, which the user on the other end can view with just 1 click of the "view" button.
