His mother, Ümran Hanım, visits her son while he is in the military. Like all mothers, she does not leave empty-handed and gives her son the water she opened with her own hands. He takes his pastry.

By the way, let's not forget to mention that Ms. Ümran is a housewife who is famous among all the notables for her cleanliness, meticulousness, hard work and delicious work. Like everyone else, all of Ümit's military friends love Ümran Hanım's water pastry. That's where the sparks of Samsu Börek first fell into Ümit's mind and heart.

And one day military service ends. Ümit returns to his hometown, Samsun, to his family. Ms. Ümran makes it pour again. He continues to make delicious water pastries for the guests who come to visit. Ümit becomes very encouraged and now shares his idea with his family.

A food engineer wants to produce the water pastry his mother makes instead of working in corporate companies. This idea is ridiculed by others. That's right, he studied engineering and needs to find a well-paying job.

His family, on the other hand, does not belittle Ümit's idea, but gives him endless support. So much so that the family does not have any savings to open a shop or invest. But they have the commitment to work together passionately. Sleeves are rolled up and work begins. But what kind of work… As we said, they don't have money to open a shop. All items in the house are removed. Second hand ovens and cabinets are purchased. Ms. Ümran opens the pastries, Ümit gets up at three in the morning, bakes the pastries and distributes them to bakeries, patisseries and breakfast rooms. Two years pass like this. Two whole years in a tiny house.

Orders can no longer be kept up and it is time to open a shop. So what will the name of the brand be? The father of the family comes up with an idea. The SAM part of the city of Samsun and the SU part of the water pastry unite and SAMSU BÖREK is born. A small shop opens on a deserted but clean street. However, do not think of a standard pastry shop... As we said, Ümran Hanım is famous for her cleanliness and meticulousness. His son Ümit also saw from him how valuable and important cleanliness, order, discipline and simplicity are. In fact, it would be fair to say that the horn goes beyond the ear. Hope depends on cleanliness and order at the level of passion.

The shop we mentioned opens, but this one is different. A small shop surrounded entirely by glass, with no closed areas, where all the production inside is visible to everyone, where our mothers dressed in pure white produce home-made delicacies, and of course, Ms. Ümran is in charge of the production...

Do you know why we call it home delicacies? They are not standard products found everywhere. Samsu Börek pursues those delicious products that our mothers make at home. That's why they are home-made delicacies. So much so that those who buy the product even say to their guests, "I made it," when they host guests at home.

A transparent production attracts people's attention. The products are very delicious. Guests even see all the raw materials used and the story of Samsu Börek begins to spread from word to mouth.

Thus, the brand began to grow and opened a branch every two years since its founding. But as he grows, the values ​​he adopts also grow. A clean, orderly and transparent production approach is also reflected in the branches. It now has 7 branches and a 6,000 square meter production facility.

A huge facility where Ümit's engineering knowledge meets traditional products. Speaking of the production facility, do not think of closed doors; the production is transparent and surrounded by glass.

Let's not forget to mention the most important thing. The brand gets its strength from women. Women are everywhere. In the warehouse, production, sales, management. 370 of the 400-person team consists of women.
