Krazy Keyboard

Krazy Keyboard challenges your memory as well as your ability to stay focused under pressure. You're presented with a "word" consisting of a string of five letters selected at random that you need to type out within 2 minutes. Sounds easy? The problem is that the keyboard is rearranged randomly each time you play so you don't know in advance which letter will be displayed when you tap a key: the "Q" key may have been changed to the "F", the "W" to "N", etc.

Here's how to play the game:

1. Once you're in the Game room, tap the START TIMER button to display a word. You'll have two minutes to complete the game.
2. Type out the top row of letters of the keyboard and see if any of the displayed letters appear in the challenge word. If so, try to remember where they were. Hold down the Delete key to erase all the letters.
3. If all five letters of the challenge word are in that row, type them out and press the DONE button. You've completed the game and your time and other information will be displayed below the button.
4. If not, type out all the letters on the next row and continue as above with the next line.
5. Continue with the bottom line of keys, if necessary.

The first few times you play the game, your time may run out before you are able to type the word. Don't be discouraged! It took the author several tries before he was able to type out a single word at the Beginner level and get onto the leaderboard. Once you get to that point, you may notice that your short-term memory has already improved. Keep playing and your completion times will steadily decrease.
