The concept is quite simple, people run the AI for other people to use and gain credits for that, which in turn can be used for generating images.

Don't have any credits? No problem, it works without credits as well! Your requests will just take longer because the amount of credits is what decides your position in the queue. Note that outside the busiest hours it's very fast even without any credits.
