Waterfall Routes

Waterfall Routes is an app for Africans to SHARE the location and details of their business, residence, or event. It is especially useful for places that do not have a full street address.

Businesses:

Do customers have trouble finding your business? When you advertise, can you easily explain the location of your business? How do you reach customers in other neighbourhoods?

Residences:

How do you alert a delivery driver how to reach your home, especially if you are not there? Have you ever had to formally describe the location of your residence, such as to a bank?

Events:

Does everyone know how to reach your event, such as a marriage or funeral? What if you could easily add directions to your invitations?

With Waterfall, you use the app to create a location profile, including its location on a map, a picture, contact information, and other useful details. Then you add a short route from a well known start point (perhaps a shopping mall, roundabout, or specific building), add landmarks on the route to orient your traveler (telling them where to turn left and right).

After you do this ONCE, you can always select the location profile in the app and share it whenever and however you want, whether it be electronic, print, or over the phone. For each location profile, you can share the information as a link, QR code, or by the unique name of the location. Your visitor will see all the information for your location profile in either the app or a mobile web browser.

If for example you have created a business profile, you can add the location QR code to your advertisements, for clients to scan and find you. Or perhaps you can send the location link to an online forum. Or if you are talking to the client over the phone, you can just tell them the unique name of your location.

For a residence, you might send the link to a contractor. Or send any of the share options to a delivery driver.

With an event, you can send a link in your e-Invitation, or print the QR code on the official event poster.
