Lord Rama, also spelled as Ram, is a central figure in Hinduism and is considered to be the seventh avatar of the god Vishnu, one of the principal deities in the Hindu pantheon. With the help of an army of monkeys led by Hanuman, Rama ultimately defeated Ravana and rescued Sita, thus fulfilling his duty as a husband and as a prince. Afterward, Rama returned to Ayodhya and was crowned as the king, ruling his kingdom with justice and compassion.

It is similar to other divination methods like the "Shri Yantra" or "Hanuman Chalisa" where seekers ask questions and receive answers believed to be guided by divine intervention.

Here's how it works:

The seeker formulates a clear and specific question in their mind that they seek guidance or clarity on.

The seeker then visits a temple dedicated to Lord Rama or a sacred space where the Ram Prashnavali is practiced.

In the traditional practice, the seeker would recite a specific prayer or mantra dedicated to Lord Rama before consulting the Ram Prashnavali.

The seeker then approaches the Ram Prashnavali, which typically consists of a grid or a series of verses from the Ramayana arranged in a square or rectangular format.

The seeker closes their eyes, focuses on their question, and then randomly selects one or more verses from the grid, often by touching them or using some other method.

The selected verses are then interpreted as the answer to the seeker's question. Each verse is believed to hold a message or guidance from Lord Rama.

The seeker reflects on the selected verses and interprets them in the context of their question and situation, seeking insights and guidance from the divine.
