ARRL Amateur extra EXAM Trial

The Amateur Extra license is the highest class of amateur radio license in the United States and provides the operator with the most privileges, including access to all amateur radio frequency bands and modes of operation. To qualify for the ARRL Amateur Extra license, an individual must first hold a General class or equivalent license, have a good understanding of advanced radio theory and practice, and pass an examination consisting of 50 multiple-choice questions covering topics such as advanced circuit theory, radio wave propagation, digital communications, satellite operation, and regulatory issues.

Holders of the ARRL Amateur Extra license are considered experts in the field of amateur radio and are often called upon to provide technical assistance and leadership in amateur radio organizations and emergency communications situations. They have the highest level of operating privileges and are able to operate on all amateur radio bands and modes, including high-frequency (HF) bands, very high frequency (VHF) and ultra-high frequency (UHF) bands, and microwave frequencies.
