Risalat al-Qayrawani Fiqh Imam Malik is an Android application that contains an important and useful book for all Muslims in the field of Islamic jurisprudence, especially the jurisprudence of Imam Malik

Al-Risala al-Fiqhiyyah is a book on Maliki jurisprudence written by Imam Abu Muhammad Abdullah Ibn Abi Zaid al-Qayrawani, who was called Malik al-Saghir and Sheikh of the Malikis in the Islamic West.

define it
Al-Qayrawani wrote his book at the suggestion of his student, Sheikh Mahrez bin Khalaf Al-Bakri Al-Tunisi Al-Maliki (d. 413 AH), who was a teacher of boys. In this regard, Ibn Abi Zayd says, addressing Sheikh Mahrez: (...you asked me to write for you a brief sentence of the duty of matters of religion from what the tongues speak and the hearts believe and the limbs do, and what is related to the duty of that of the Sunnahs of their emphases, their supererogatory deeds, their desires, and some of the etiquette from them, and sentences From the fundamentals of jurisprudence and its arts on the doctrine and method of Imam Malik bin Anas, with what facilitated the path of what was confusing from that of the interpretation of the firm and the statement of the agreed upon...).

The motive for Sheikh Mahrez’s suggestion was what Ibn Abi Zayd mentioned in his speech to him as well: (…because I wanted to teach that to children, just as you teach them the letters of the Qur’an, so that their understanding of God’s religion and His laws will precede their hearts with what His blessing is hoped for them, and its outcome is praiseworthy for them. So I answered you to that for what I hoped for myself, and that is from knowing God’s religion or calling to it).

The nature of the message
The message, as mentioned by Ibn Abi Zayd, is a book for teaching, that is, a textbook in the modern expression. Al-Qayrawani himself confirms this in the conclusion of the letter when he said: (We have come upon what we have stipulated that we bring it in this book of ours, which will benefit, God willing, whoever desires to teach that among the young, and whoever needs it among the adults. And it contains what leads the ignorant to knowledge of what he believes. of his religion and performs its obligations, and understands many principles of desires and etiquette).

its content
Beliefs, for which al-Qayrawani devoted an entire chapter called: The Chapter on What the Tongues Speak and the Hearts Believe in the Obligations of Religious Affairs. )
Issues of jurisprudence, Ibn Abi Zaid arranged them in forty-four chapters other than the chapter related to beliefs, including chapters related to the pillars of religion such as prayer, zakat, pilgrimage and fasting, and related provisions, and chapters related to jihad, faith and vows, marriage and what follows it, sales and wills ... and others. It is one of the related chapters. When he finished those doors. He came up with a chapter called the Chapter on Sentences from Obligatory Obligations and Sunnahs, and Desires, in which he repeated some of the foregoing (summary in a chapter, so that this would be his remembrance of what preceded).
