Who is Nureddin Yıldız?

He was born in 1960 in Of district of Trabzon. He completed his memorization at the age of eight with his father, Hilmi Yıldız Hocaefendi, and received basic religious education. He studied at Istanbul-Gaziosmanpaşa Imam Hatip High School. While he was attending Imam Hatip High School, he started writing weekly articles and translated news in different newspapers. At the same time, he continued to be a pulpit orator.

During his student years, he took on active duties in the National Turkish Student Union and the Akıncılar Organization. After graduating from Imam-Hatip high school, he attended Marmara University Faculty of Theology for one year. Then, he transferred to Mecca Ummu'l-Qura University. He graduated from Usul-u Fiqh department here. Later, during his time in Mecca, he received private lessons and permission from well-known hadith teachers. The great haddith Abdulfettah Ebu Gudde, the great Indian scholar Ebu'l Hasen En'Nedvi, and the late Ottoman ulema Mehmet Emin Saraç Hodjaefendi are some of the teachers from whom he received ijazah.

After returning to Istanbul, he started education and non-governmental activities. He worked on projects in various institutions and organizations in the field of memorization and religious education. In the same period, he began to write translations and original works.

In the field of civil society, he pioneered the establishment of many non-governmental organizations and still plays active roles at different levels of these organizations. Finally, he established the Social Doku Association and Social Doku Foundation.

Within the scope of notification and guidance activities; Marriage, child and family education, raising awareness of young people, Islamic morality, organizational education, ummah awareness, etc. He has given thousands of seminars and conferences on subjects and continues to do so.

He currently continues his work at the Social Doku Foundation and is married and the father of four children. He is one of the first members of the World Association of Scholars in Turkey and a founding member of the Turkish Association of Scholars. He continues his talks at the Social Doku Foundation regularly every weekend during the education season.
