All praise and worship belongs to Allah SWT. Sholawat strings of greetings may always be devoted to the presence of the lord of nature, the Prophet Muhammad shallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam.

Days change seasons, but various questions that arise when approaching the month of Ramadan are still the same questions, regarding Hisab and Ru'yah, intention of fasting, Qadha', Tarawih, Zakat Fitrah and so on. Even though these various problems have been discussed, humans are still limited, forgetfulness and various busynesses are still the factors causing questions to be repeated, in addition to the lack of adequate documentation. For this reason, it is necessary to collect various writings related to this problem.

The authors chose the fatwas of three great al-Azhar scholars; Sheikh 'Athiyyah Shaqar, Sheikh Dr. Yusuf al-Qaradawi and Sheikh Dr. Ali Jum'ah, because of their knowledge and Manhaj al-Washatiyyah (moderate) which they continue to apply in fatwas, with a wealth of arguments and reading references. Hopefully these fatwas can provide enlightenment and be made by Allah SWT as part of the good deeds that continue to flow, amen.

Finally, there is no ivory that is not cracked. This translation is far from perfect. However, if the wait is perfect, these fatwas will never appear in the real world. Criticism and suggestions are needed from the scholars and all Muslims.
