Parallele

Parallèle is an iPad application that exploits augmented reality. Parallèle is a game that allows you to get acquainted with notions of electromagnetism. In particular, Parallèle is aimed at all physics teachers who have to teach the concepts related to the movement of charged particles in an electromagnetic field, and to their students.

When Parallel is running, the tablet's camera is filming what's in front of it, but what's on the screen is a mix of reality (what's in front of the camera) and added three-dimensional elements.

To work, Parallel uses markers. These markers are cartons on which precise symbols have been printed, which the application will be able to recognize and on the image of which it will be able to superimpose the three-dimensional elements. The result is updated in real time.

Parallèle is a serious game that aims to allow players to appropriate the concepts of physics related to the movement of charged particles in an electromagnetic field.
