The Han-Chu War (漢楚爭雄 Han Chu War, 楚漢戰爭 Chu Han War, 楚漢相爭 Chu Han Controversy or 楚漢春秋 Chu Han Xuan Thu, 206–202 BC) is the period after the Han Dynasty. Qin Dynasty in China. Both Liu Bang (born 256 BC) and Xiang Yu (born 232 BC) were born on the land of present-day Jiangsu province,[1] which belonged to Chu land (which was annexed by the Qin state in 223 BC). ) before Qin Shi Huang unified China in 221 BC. Xiang Yu and Liu Bang as well as their ancestors were former subjects of Chu state in the late Warring States period. These two characters were the leaders who took the lead in destroying the Qin Dynasty, but soon after, they also started the internal struggle of the Chu people in the post-Qin period. After all, whether Liu Bang or Xiang Yu won the heroic battle, it could be considered a successful revenge of Chu against Qin.
