There are many preachers today who don't really understand the ins and outs and goals they have to follow; know how far they will go. They have not realized that Da'wah is a sacrifice. They don't understand what they have to sacrifice in carrying out their duties, both in terms of their wealth and body and soul. This causes Da'is to often become bad examples of Islamic teachings that they convey to the public. They are an example that is not noble for the good deeds that they put forward in their Amarma'ruf.

Thus they become a heavy burden for da'wah. They become a stone barrier that slows down the smooth da'wah.

Among them, there are those who think that the Islamic commandments have fallen from their shoulders if they have written books about Islam, or written articles that have been published in newspapers or magazines, or given accurate sermons at mosques, or filled out recitations, but there are also those who think that the pinnacle of glory and position one aspires to is having their name registered as an active administrator in an Islamic congregation and it can be seen that their activities are attending programs aimed at advancing that congregation.

We have no doubt that these and they are officials who have just stood on the edge of da'wah, on the edge of 'Islamic charity. They have not joined the da'wah field. They haven't even entered into the true SCOPE of Islam, they haven't even taken part in breathing its fresh air…!
